ALL Hazards Coordination Workshop
The Louisiana National Guard (LANG) hosts the 2019 All Hazards Coordination Workshop scheduled for 12-14 March 2019 at Jackson Barracks, New Orleans, Louisiana. Travel days are 11 and 15 March 2019.
The objective of this workshop is to improve the attending States' National Guard ability to support their governor and citizens during All Hazards events.
Each attending state and territory should provide an evaluation of their anticipated shortfalls (gap analysis) for disaster response, in order to develop Primary, Alternate, Contingency, and Emergency (PACE) plans. In regional breakouts, states work with other participating states to identify sourcing solutions for anticipated Emergency Management Assistance Compact (EMAC) requirements. LANG will assign facilitators to each region during the regional breakout to assist in coordination and aid in identifying potential sourcing solutions for any remaining gaps in each state’s plan. During the national level forum, states resolve shortfalls not sourced in regional breakouts.
